Heavy Metal Magazine Subscription Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 30 May 2025

These Subscription Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your subscription to Heavy Metal Magazine ("we," "us," or "our"). By subscribing, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These terms apply whether you are subscribing to the Softcover, Hardcover, or Digital tier.

1. Subscription Tiers & Benefits

Softcover Tier – $79.99/year (Backer Price: $59.99)
• 4 quarterly softcover issues
• 1 annual Specials with a subscriber-only variant cover
• Digital access to all subscribed issues
• Shipping included

Hardcover Tier – $159.99/year (Backer Price: $139.99)
• 4 quarterly hardcover collector’s editions
• 1 annual Specials (softcover with exclusive cover)
• Digital access to all subscribed issues

• Shipping included

Digital Tier – $29.99/year
• Full digital access to all new issues as they are released

Each tier may also include access to subscriber-only communications, previews, or exclusive content, as determined by us from time to time.

Free Gift with Subscription
Customers who purchase an eligible subscription to Heavy Metal Magazine (Softcover,or Hardcover) before 1 July 2025 will receive one (1) complimentary gift valued at $25 USD, subject to the terms below. The gift will be selected and fulfilled by Heavy Metal International LLC at its sole discretion. It may include merchandise, collectibles, or digital items of comparable value. The gift is not redeemable for cash or store credit and cannot be exchanged. Gifts will be shipped or distributed at one or more points throughout the remainder of 2025, to the mailing or email address provided with the qualifying subscription. Timing is subject to availability and production schedules. This offer is non-transferable and cannot be combined with any other discount or promotional offer, except as explicitly stated. If a qualifying subscription is canceled before the gift is fulfilled, Heavy Metal International reserves the right to withhold the gift or charge its full retail value. Heavy Metal International reserves the right to modify or cancel this promotional offer at any time without prior notice, including in cases of fraud, system error, or misuse. By participating, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any decisions made by Heavy Metal International, which are final and binding.

2. Billing & Renewal
All subscriptions are billed annually at the rate shown at checkout. Subscriptions automatically renew each year unless cancelled before the renewal date. Prices are subject to change with prior notice.

3. Shipping & Delivery
Print subscriptions include four issues per year and one annual Special. Currently, physical subscriptions are only available to residents of the United States and Canada.

We do not charge markup on postage. International shipping costs are substantial, and we are actively exploring future global solutions.

If you reside outside the US or Canada and wish to subscribe to a physical tier, contact us at hello@heavymetal.com. We will work with you directly to explore international shipping options at your expense.

Digital subscriptions are available globally.

4. Cancellations & Refunds
Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current subscription term. We do not offer refunds for partial or unused subscription periods.

5. Changes to Subscription Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms, subscription tiers, and associated benefits at any time. Any updates will be communicated via email or posted on our website. Continued use of your subscription following changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

6. Data Protection & Privacy
We are committed to protecting your personal information and handling it in accordance with all applicable privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), UK GDPR, and similar regulations.

By subscribing, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your personal data for subscription management, order fulfillment, and relevant communications. We will not sell your information and will only share it with third-party service providers necessary to deliver your subscription.
